- He waves hello, bye, and night-night
- His favorite words are "woah" and "wow". "Oooo-coo" (cool) is also well used
- other words: ma-ma, da-da, pa-pa, ba-ba (bottle), a-da (all gone), oo-da-do (where did he go? followed by putting both hands up in the air) wa-wa (bath, not to drink), da-da (also doggy, but somehow sounds a little different), there's others that escape me
- He loves peek-a-boo and won't go to bed at night until it's been played
- At bedtime he also waits for me to point to the mattress before he'll lay down. The funniest thing is he'll put his head wherever I point, even if he has to crawl to the other side of the crib.
- He's a cuddlebug and a thumb sucker. It's easy to tell when he's ready for a nap because he crawls into my lap and starts sucking his thumb
- he crawls soo fast, especially if someone has food he wants
- he loves his papa (my dad) better than anyone/anything. If papa is in the room, Ethan will be on his lap.
Tawny:
- Started dance today and loves every minute of it
- is convinced she is a princess
- loves her little brother, sometime a little too much. Her new thing is to carry him around. Keep in mind he weighs 27 lbs and she weighs 42.
- is starting to understand sarcasm. If something goes wrong and I respond by saying "well that's fantastic" she'll immediately say "you mean it's not fantastic mommy. not even a little bit". This happens at least 4-5 times every day. Hilarious.
- She learning to read and is so excited every time she gets it right
- she loves her mommy. When she is sad, happy, tired, pretty much anything she turns to me. I love feeling needed.
Brayden:
- Loves everything about 1st grade. His teacher, friends, class, everything.
- Reading anything and everything. Right now he is into The Chronicles of Narnia and the Magic Treehouse. Did I mention he's only in first grade.
- He also loves science and understanding how things work.
- He had his first day of tumbling today and had so much fun. He's so much more coordinated than he was just a few months ago.
- Enjoys helping around the house and is really great at it. Sorting laundry, emptying/loading the dishwasher and vacuuming are his favorites. The only thing he regularly fights me on is cleaning the playroom.
- Is growing up! He gave Ethan his teddy bear because "six year olds don't need teddy bears anymore". I thought it was sweet to share, but was sad at the same time. I don't want him to be too old for his teddy bear ever!
